How To Host An Amazing Event at the Country Club of Roswell
If you are planning on throwing an event this year, do not let yourself be overwhelmed with all of the details. Let the Country Club of Roswell make your day everything you dreamed of. We work with the finest vendors in the city and are happy to help you select the perfect florist, baker, photographer, and entertainment.
Throughout the Country Club of Roswell’s operations, we have prioritized safety measures and social distancing. As we continue to adjust how we celebrate the fine things in our lives, here are a few tips that can ensure that your events are both spectacular and safe.
Creative Distancing
One of the great benefits with hosting an event at the Country Club of Roswell is our variety of spaces. Our lush green Event Garden and our Azalea Deck work wonderfully for events that require an outdoor setting. We put the creative in creative distancing with our arrangement of seating for your guests and opportunities to spend quality time among our freshly manicured greenery and floral.
The Country Club of Roswell’s ballroom has new carpet (installed in August 2020), and the new chandeliers light up the well-appointed space. Our 300-guest ballroom provides space to display our large inventory of various sized and shaped tables with flexibility on seating. One arrangement we have tried is elegant estate seating instead of a traditional round which provides a grand look while keeping your guests perfectly distanced.
Live Streaming
For our friends and family that are hesitant about gatherings, we have ideas for how to make your event an engaging experience for all. With access to free and user-friendly platforms such as Facebook Live, Zoom, or Google Meet, we can tug on your relative’s heartstrings all around the country. You could make this a DIY project or leverage the expertise of professionals to cover your unforgettable moments!
To make sure your event runs smoothly, I recommend the following:
- Keep your live stream link private and only share with your desired audience
- Make sure you have a backup charger and device
- Do a trial run prior to your event
- Consider purchasing a tripod (if you wish to have consistent angles and focus)
Safety Precautions
There are great ways to make your guests comfortable and set your event apart from others. Consider these fun, little details to include with your décor and timely necessities:
- Customized Hand Sanitizer Bottles
- Emergency Kit Party Favors
- Personalized Face Mask
- Having a Digital Guestbook instead of the Traditional Guestbook
- Personalized Floor Clings and Signs Encouraging Social Distancing (my favorites that I’ve seen: “Distancing is temporary, love is forever” and “To have and to hold, six-feet-apart.)
